This weekend I had a gathering with some of my girlfriends to do some cooking prep for our freezer. One even came all the way from Edmonton to help out. I am so grateful for the help in prepping our freezer for the road ahead. Not only this, but my coworkers are also working on helping us do some cooking as well. We now have a very major part of regular life taken care of for the next month or so.
But far more important than that I got to spend some quality time with my girlfriends to chat and catch up. In fact this week I got to the chance to hang out with a lot of my good friends. Sometimes it is hard to carve the time out to just reconnect, and it is easy to forget how important time like that actually is. My heart feels full and my soul feels recharged. The next two months are going to be touch and go. I know that there will be low points, but we can make it through anything with the support system we have.
